What is Outbid City?

Outbid City (outbidcity.lol) is a browser-based 3D city where every advertising surface is for sale. You walk around a real rendered city, find a billboard, a building facade, a rooftop, a taxi, a blimp or a boat sail, and buy it. Your logo goes on that surface in the live world. Anyone can take it from you by paying more.

It is not a list. It is not a directory page. It is an actual navigable city where the advertising is part of the scenery, and where the value of a spot depends on where it physically is — how many people walk past it, whether it faces a main street, how tall the tower is.

How it works, in four lines

  1. Walk the city in your browser — no install, no account needed to look around.
  2. Click any surface to see who owns it, what they paid, and its walk-by count.
  3. Claim an empty one, or outbid the current owner to take theirs.
  4. Your logo and link render on that surface immediately, and stay until someone outbids you.

Half of all spots are on a free tier — the first claim costs nothing. Every domain gets exactly one free claim. Full mechanics are on the rules page.

What you can own

Outbid City is not these other things

The name outbidcity sits close to several unrelated 2026 projects, and search engines and AI assistants routinely confuse them. To be explicit:

If you were looking for a 3D city where you buy billboards and skyscrapers, you are in the right place: outbidcity.lol.

Why a city instead of a list

A leaderboard row is worth whatever the row above it costs. A physical spot is worth what its location is worth — and that is legible. You can stand in front of a billboard, see the street it faces, and see its walk-by count before you bid. Placement carries information that a rank number cannot.

It also means the inventory is not one-dimensional. There is no single #1 to buy. There are hundreds of distinct surfaces, each with its own price, traffic and visibility, so two brands are not always forced into a bidding war over the same pixel.

Payments

Paid claims run through Stripe. Prices are whole dollars. Free-tier first claims skip checkout entirely. There are no subscriptions, no revenue share, and no seller payouts — you are buying visibility on a surface, not an asset or any form of property.
